South Pennines Rail Partnership’s

 Photographic Competition

The competition will be run in partnership with British Waterways and the Huddersfield Canal Society and is open to all photographers. There will be

judging in three age groups:

·       Under 12’s

·       12 to 17 year olds

·       Adults

The judges will be looking for the very best, original images of The South Pennines area, accessible by rail. A first prize of a free rail travel ticket for Northern Rail will be given to the winner in each age group, and there will be runner up prizes of family tickets to Standedge Visitor Centre, and the new Huddersfield Narrow Canal Tow Path guide. Short-listed entries, runners up and winners in each age group will form part of a photographic exhibition at Standedge Visitor Centre.

Photographs can be in colour or black & white and each person can submit up to five entries but all entries must be submitted before the closing date of 30^th May 2008
